How can I obtain an application?
Applications are available on our website at <a href="https://luxaira.apartmentapplication.info/" target="_blank">this link</a> or in our leasing office located at 1105 Hamal Irvine, CA.
Are there age restrictions?
Yes. This is a 55 and better senior community.
What bedroom types are there?
There are 12 Studio, 124 One Bedroom and 21 Two Bedroom apartments. We are accepting applications for all floor plans and AMI. For additional details regarding income qualifications, please see our pdf application.
How long is the waiting list?
We cannot forecast the wait time, as it depends on available vacancies and wait list eligibility.
Are there any preferences if I currently live in Irvine, CA?
No preferences are considered.
What is the process for qualification?
This community does have minimum and maximum income restrictions, age restrictions and all residents will be screened utilizing published resident selection criteria.
Will this community offer on site storage or garages?
This community will offer some covered, carport parking but no garages. At this time we do not offer additional storage.
Does Luxaira offer transportation services?
Luxaira does not provide transportation services, however, Orange County does have a public transportation system within walking distance of the community.
Will Luxaira offer social services/resident events?
Luxaira is 100% independent living but will offer some customized services. Programming will be based on the needs of the community. Specific programming information may be provided at the time of move in.
Is there rent control or rent subsidies attached to the apartment?
Rent control does not apply to our community and there are no rental subsidies offered as part of our program. Minimum and maximum income limits will apply. We will accept portable Section 8 vouchers and other tenant-based rental programs at this community.
Are subsidies from family allowed?
All recurring gifts from members not currently residing with the applicant will be confirmed and counted as part of total household annual income. You may contact us with any specific questions after you are assigned an application number and contacted for an interview.
Is the income based on one person's income?
No, all incomes sources are counted for all members of the application. Income is based on gross income.
Are pets allowed?

Does Luxaira offer short term leases?
No, all leases are 12 months in length.
